An absolute blitzkrieg from McCullum ensured that the Royal Challengers had no other option but to go hammer and tongs from ball one. They failed miserably, caving in for a pathetic 82. Ishant started the procession, Agarkar picked up 3 wickets and Ganguly chipped in with 2 as Bangalore fell short by a whopping 140 runs

Bangalore (PTI): Royal Challengers Bangalore skipper Rahul Dravid won the toss and decided to field in the opening match against Kolkata Knight Riders in the DLF Indian Premier League here today.“There’s a bit of dew in the pitch and its going to get worse as the match progresses,” said Dravid following his decision of putting Knight Riders to bat first.
“It’s a fast outfield and we would like to chase a target,” added Dravid.
